BRAILLEX EL 40s combines state-of-the-art screen access technology with portability and flexibility. The "s" in its name stands for "slimline", and you can take it for granted. Its 40 interactive cells in the light but sturdy aluminum-magnesium housing need less than half the surface of a sheet of paper (dimensions: 310 x 115 x 22 mm or 12.2 x 4.5 x 0.87") Its weight of approx. 890 g (2 lbs) makes it really portable even for school children.
Thanks to USB "plug & play" and "hot swap" features, you simply connect the Braille display to your computer, start your favorite screen reader program and go!
Even though it is way smaller than the other displays of the Efficiency Line family, it has all the benefits and features of its big counterparts.
